Camp Cope Announce 2018 National Tour

Camp Cope have announced a 2018 national tour in support of their upcoming new album How To Socialise & Make Friends.

The band will play seven shows across Australia in March — kicking off shortly after they release the album on Friday, 2nd March — and they’ve lined up an international support act in the form of US rockers Chastity Belt, who’ll be repping their third album I Used To Spend So Much Time Alone This Year.

The two bands met on Chastity Belt’s last Australian tour, eventually teaming up for an in-store appearance at Melbourne record store Vinyl.

Meanwhile, How To Socialise & Make Friends is the follow-up to Camp Cope’s breakthrough self-titled debut, and has been preceded by its first single ‘The Opener’, which you can spin below alongside all of the band’s 2018 national tour dates.

UPDATE 12/01/18: Camp Cope have now announced local support acts and added a second Melbourne show to their 2018 national tour, as well as releasing the music video (below) for recent single ‘The Opener’, which was filmed at the Sydney Opera House.

The group’s new Melbourne show will take place on Thursday, 15th March. Supporting the band at various cities along the tour will be Erica Freas (RVIVR), Waterfall Person, Kelly Lloyd (Screamfeeder), She’s The Band, Moaning Lisa, The Nah and Sports Bra. Details below.
