Naarm-based Koori-led punk act Chasing Ghosts have shared another potent slice of their forthcoming album Therapy, along with a huge headline tour announcement.
Dubbed ‘Chamomile Tea’, the band’s new single is a raucous, upbeat indie-punk anthem about overcoming personal demons.
Chasing Ghosts – ‘Chamomile Tea’
“’Chamomile Tea’ is a tongue-in-cheek take on a time in my life that was very dark,” singer and proud Thungutti man Jimmy Kyle explains. “It’s about struggling with Insomnia from stress and anxiety, created by an endless stream of thoughts coupled with self-medicating behaviours and the emotional impact spilling out into my personal and professional relationships.”
You can take ‘Chamomile Tea’ for a spin up above.
Meanwhile, in honour of their new LP Therapy, which is due to reach our ears on Friday, 16th May, Chasing Ghosts will embark on their biggest headline tour to date this June, hitting five dates across the nation.
The run will kick off in Adelaide / Kaurna, before heading to Ballarat / Wadawarrung, Melbourne / Wurundjeri, Sydney / Gadigal before wrapping up in Brisbane / Turrbul.
