Childish Gambino Confirms Collaborative EP With Chance The Rapper

Childish Gambino has revealed that he and former collaborator Chance The Rapper have secretly been working on a joint EP. Gambino, real name Donald Glover, made the reveal via Twitter shortly after he was joined by Chance during his performance at The Governors Ball in New York City.

Back in November, Gambino unveiled the tracklist for his latest album, Because the Internet, which confirmed an appearance from Chance and others. While some assumed the Chicago rapper would contribute a verse, he ultimately appeared on the hook of single The Worst Guys.

Chance’s ‘lost verse’ was finally debuted during Gambino’s Governors Ball set, prompting the latter to tweet, “Now that Chance finally released his verse on Worst Guys maybe he can hurry up and finish the rest of our EP.” The rapper slash comedian concluded with the hashtag #hinthint.

Chance is yet to comment on this new collaborative project and Gambino did not offer any more details, only confirming that some music has been recorded and alluding to the fact that he is waiting on contributions from Chance. There is no indication when this project will see the light of day.
