Off the back of his catchy single YES!, its equally infectious video clip and a killer live show at Groovin’ The Moo festival, Ghana-born, Canberra-based hip hop sensation Citizen Kay has just announced a string of dates up, down and around the country as part of his Vision tour.
Citizen Kay, along with his live drummer James, has been described as “The White Stripes of hip hop”, which simultaneously raises a bunch of questions and lets you know you’re in for something pretty unique and compelling. The up-and-coming star of the ACT music scene recently supported both Grey Ghost and Matt & Kim on their Australian jaunts, winning new fans around the country.
The Vision tour hits Sydney on 13th July and then stops in to most of the usual haunts, giving you a chance to see Citizen Kay’s trademark flow and broad range of musical flavours in the flesh.
