Coldplay have added two extra Melbourne shows to their 2024 Australian tour. The UK pop band will perform at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, 2nd and Sunday, 3rd November in addition to the previously announced gigs at the venue on Wednesday, 30th and Thursday, 31st October. Pre-sale tickets are available now and general tickets go on sale Friday, 1st December via Coldplay.
The band’s Music of the Spheres tour is set to visit just Melbourne and Sydney, along with Auckland in Aotearoa. The Sydney leg includes concerts at Accor Stadium on Wednesday, 6th and Thursday, 7th November. Coldplay carried out a two-night stand at Perth’s Optus Stadium in November 2023.
Coldplay – ‘A Sky Full of Stars’
Songs from 2021’s Music of the Spheres LP dominated the setlist at the recent Perth concerts. The band members also dipped into their back catalogue for performances of enduring ’00s pop-rock songs ‘The Scientist’, ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Clocks’, ‘Fix You’ and ‘Yellow’. Take a look at the setlists here.
