Australia’s annual hip hop festival is back in 2014 as the Come Together Festival takes over the Big Top at Sydney’s Luna Park, featuring Kerser, Funkoars, Jackie Onassis, Remi and a bunch more in an all homegrown hip hop line-up for this Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
Western Sydney’s C-town rapper Kerser will be headlining the event, having cemented his chokehold on the Oz hip-hop scene his latest offering, 2013’s S.C.O.T., debuted at number five in the ARIA Albums Chart.
Also starring on the lineup are mainstays of the genre, Funkoars, who, having been in the game since 1999, have established themselves as one of the country’s most irreverent and talented hip-hop crews.
Relatively new kids on the block, the Sydney duo Jackie Onassis, also feature on the bill promising to dazzle the adoring crowd with favourite from their sophomore EP Juliette. Other notable names include Remi, Citizen Kay, Diafrix, Briggs and a bunch more.
Combining a titanic line-up with an iconic venue, organisers are also tempting festival-goers with free rides across Luna Park for the whole day. Plus, for an extra bonus, punters who buy three tickets get a fourth ticket for free. So go get pooling with your mates.
Tickets for the festival go on sale at 9am AEST this Thursday, 24th April and you can check out the details below.
