Courtney Love Is Joining Marilyn Manson On ‘Sons Of Anarchy’

The queen of anarchy herself, Courtney Love, is set to join the hit FX biker gang series Sons of Anarchy for the show’s seventh and final season. The news comes just weeks after it was confirmed that Marilyn Manson will have a recurring role as a white supremacist on the show’s last season.

According to TVLine, Love will be part of a pivotal, multi-episode arc as Mrs Harrison, the pre-school teacher of Abel, the eldest son of lead character Jax Teller. Love’s character will reportedly be playing off Abel’s mother, played by series regular and former Sopranos star Drea de Matteo.

This isn’t the Hole rocker’s first turn as an actress, having previously garnered acclaim and even a Golden Globe nod for her role in 1996’s The People vs. Larry Flynt, and playing important roles in 1999’s Man on the Moon and 200 Cigarettes. Sons of Anarchy will mark her TV acting debut.

The seventh season of Sons of Anarchy will premiere later this year, with Love set to make her first appearance in the fourth episode of the season. Love is joining a cast that now includes fellow rocker Manson, who said, “Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s.”

“I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema,” the once Eastbound & Down cameo star continued. “After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”
