Ready to serve a fiery gut punch to their building legions of fans around the country, Cursed Earth are bringing The Deathbed Sessions to life this July with the Tyranny Across Australia Tour.
Announcing a cheeky winter tour that will have them on the road for six unmissable shows along the east coast before finishing up with a hometown show for the books in Perth, Cursed Earth are promising to go large for this new run of shows.
The Deathbed Sessions mixtape marks a frenetic new chapter for the band; their creative scope broadened, Cursed Earth employing the vocal talents of eight of the country’s most visceral voices for the record, following the band’s separation from Jazmine Luders.
Featuring guest appearances from Larissa Stupar (Venom Prison), Nick Adams (Justice For The Damned), Jack McDonald (Cast Down), Joel Birch (Amity Affliction), Matt Honeycut (Kublai Khan), Mark Poida (Aversions Crown), as well as Booka Nile and Sean Hermanis (Make Them Suffer), Cursed Earth tackles a series of intense themes, from warfare and self-destruction, through to some harrowing real-life events that have shaped our modern history.
Joining Cursed Earth on this Australian tour are Daybreak, A Gloom In The Corner and Wreath, while Cast Down’s Jack McDonald will also be a part of the ~brutal~ hijinx.
“We’re very happy to be bringing our friend Jack McDonald along on our Tyranny Across Australia tour,” Cursed Earth’s Kieran Molloy says. “We’ve been recording with Jack in Sydney over the last couple of months and we’re very confident now that he’s the best guy to carry our old songs as well as the new.”
