David Attenborough’s ‘Planet Earth II: Live In Concert’ Announces 2018 Australian Tour

UPDATE: Sir David Attenborough’s ‘Blue Planet II: Live In Concert’ Announces 2019 Australian Tour

ORIGINAL STORY: Sir David Attenborough‘s ‘Planet Earth II’ concert series is finally coming to Australia.

While Attenborough himself won’t be heading down under for the show, the four concerts will be narrated live by Aussie actor Eric Bana, and will feature footage from Attenborough’s incredible BBC Earth series, which will be projected on a screen and accompanied by an orchestra.

The footage was filmed over three years using top-notch technology, giving us some of the most unbelievable nature footage ever filmed.

Audience members will take a trip through some of the most interesting places on earth, from the jungles of Madagascar to the remote sandy deserts of Nambia. You’ll also see penguins in the Antarctic.

It’s one thing watching this footage at home or in the cinema, but this is promising to be an all-encompassing sensory experience, the likes of which you don’t get to see everyday.

Hanz Zimmer, who toured Australia last year, is behind the score, so you can also expect your ears to get an experience like no other.
