David Bowie, Elliott Smith, The Beatles And More Credited On Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’

For those of you who have been living under a rock today, Frank Ocean finally released his third studio album Blonde this morning and the list of people who worked on it is stacked.

Along with releasing the album, Frank opened pop-up magazine stores in the US and in London to sell his Boys Don’t Cry magazine that accompanies the record. Inside it is the amazing list of album credits.

Elliott Smith, David Bowie, The Beatles, Beyoncé, Kanye West and Pharrell are literally just a handful of names that are featured in the incredible list.

Along with the legends there are also plenty of new innovators named like Jamie xx, James Blake, Yung Lean and Arca.

Aside from the credits, the magazine also features a bunch of noteworthy content including a beautiful open letter by Frank that he also reposted on his Tumblr.

In it he talks about his nostalgia for cars attributing it to, “a deep subconscious straight boy fantasy.”

“Consciously though, I don’t want straight,” he further writes.

“A little bent is good.”

Kanye has also contributed to the magazine and in true Kanye style he’s written a poem about McDonalds.

“I knew the diet Coke was jealous of the fries / I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries,” reads the poem which is bizarre in a very-Kanye sort of way. You can read the entire poem below.

There’s no word yet on whether Frank plans to sell the magazine here in Australia but if you want to get your hands on one now, they’re going on ebay for anywhere between $250 and $1,000. How deep is your love for Frank?

Despite fans often thinking Frank hated them as he kept delaying the album, it seems it’s actually the opposite.

“I HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE MAKING ALL OF THIS. THANK YOU ALL,” he wrote on Tumblr.

“ESPECIALLY THOSE OF YOU WHO NEVER LET ME FORGET I HAD TO FINISH. WHICH IS BASICALLY EVERY ONE OF YA’LL. HAHA. LOVE YOU.”

For now, check out the credit list plus a few snaps of the magazine people have uploaded to social media.
