US hip-hop trio De La Soul are headed to the country soon as a part of Aunty Meredith’s flagship annual event, the Meredith Music Festival, and will also delight Melbourne audiences with an intimate sideshow.
In addition to their Meredith slot, De La Soul will headline just one club show, playing Melbourne’s 170 Russell Street on Friday 12th December 2014. They feature as one of te main attractions on the Meredith lineup, alongside The War On Drugs, Ty Segall and Ghostface Killah.
De La Soul will be touring off the back of their much praised Glastonbury performance and the 25th anniversary of their revolutionary debut album 3 Feet High and Rising, the first of three full-length collaborations with producer Prince Paul which contains the singles Me Myself and I and The Magic Number.
Tickets to catch the trailblazing hip-hop trio in their only Meredith show are sure to sell fast. The Meredith music Festival runs from Friday, 12th until Sunday, 14th December 2014.
