Dirty Three Share New Single ‘Love Changes Everything II’

Dirty Three have shared another part of their upcoming studio album, Love Changes Everything. Having shared its opening part with the album’s announcement earlier this year, the trio have now lifted part two of the six-part suite ahead of the full album’s release. In a press release, ‘Love Changes Everything II’ is described as “Dirty Three at midday, glancing pensively back at the waters of morning and forward past the sands to the shades of evening.”

Warren [Ellis] mans the keyboards, Jim [White] turns round and round the kit, looking for a spot to sit in, and Mick [Turner] provides gentle loops of five-string filigree, ringing the pillars of piano and synth as they solemnly rise toward the sky,” it read.

Love Changes Everything will be released physically on Friday June 14th for purchase at the trio’s upcoming national Australian tour on vinyl and CD, before its release on streaming services two weeks later on Friday June 28th.

The tour will commence with three shows in Melbourne as part of the city’s RISING program for 2024: Two at the Recital Centre and one at the Forum Theatre, which was added to meet demand. The band will then head to Canberra, Thirroul, Sydney, Fremantle, Adelaide, Hobart, Brisbane and Byron Bay.
