Speaking to triple j this afternoon, Django Django drummer and producer David MacLean revealed the band were looking to relive their 2013 Australian visit which included stops at Falls Festival and Field Day.

“[We’re] pencilled in to do the same thing we did a couple years ago, sort of come over in New Year time,” he said. “We’re all very keen to do it, have a little surfing holiday thrown in there too – like last time…Watch this space for January 2016.”

The last time Django Django toured Australian was after the release of their self-titled debut album. Should they return in 2016, they’ll be touting their forthcoming follow-up Born Under Saturn, which is scheduled to drop on Friday, 1st May.

MacLean explained the album was co-produced by Neil Combe who oversaw the band enter a proper studio for the first time ever to record the 13-track album. Check out, Beginning to Fade, a fresh cut from the new record, below.
