Donald Glover Just Surprise-Dropped A New Album, But Not As Childish Gambino

Surprise! Ya boi Donald Glover, sometimes known as Childish Gambino, has just sideswiped us with a brand new album!

The seemingly untitled 12-tracker, which is reportedly packing some high profile feat.s including collabs with Ariana Grande, 21 Savage & SZA, was released quietly today as a live stream via new website donaldgloverpresents.com.

Although the LP has not been released under Glover’s Childish Gambino monicker, it does include Gambino’s previously released 2018 single ‘Feels Like Summer’, as well as ‘Warlords’ — which debuted during Gambino’s Coachella show last year — and 2019 single ‘Algorhythm’ which he shared via an augmented reality app.

If you need a refresher, Glover announced plans to retire his Childish Gambino project back in 2017, and his last scheduled tour dates (including a headlining slot at Splendour In The Grass) finished up last year.

Some fans are speculating that a box at the bottom of Glover’s new website, which allows you to input text of your choice, wants fans to choose a name for the album.

The LP also comes complete with a four-part illustration, depicting the world in flames. Check it:

The multi-talented singer-actor-writer is yet to comment publicly on the release, but a tweet listing the website was retweeted by officially verified members of his management team.
