We hope you’ve got tickets to Childish Gambino’s Australian tour this November, because the rapper has just revealed it will be his last!
Kicking off his This Is America world tour at Atlanta’s Infinite Energy Arena last night, Gambino — whose mum calls him Donald Glover — told the crowd: “If you’re at this show know that it’s the last Gambino tour ever. This is not a concert. This is fucking church.”
It comes after Glover announced that he would end his Childish Gambino project completely following another major release, but it’s still unclear whether or not that means we’re in for a full album.
He did just drop two new tracks out of the blue though, and he’s also been sending new and unreleased music to fans who bought tickets to his current tour.
ICYMI: Gambino will be heading down under to headline Canberra’s Spilt Milk festival in November, as well as performing a bunch of headlining sideshows.
He’s also bringing his PHAROS Festival to New Zealand later this year.
Catch his full list of Aussie dates below, alongside his bombshell live announcement about his current tour being his last.
