UPDATE: Drake has now announced a 2017 Australian tour.
ORIGINAL STORY: Hold on to your Hotline Bling because it looks a whooooooooooole lot like Drake is about to announce a new Australian tour.
We’ve come to this conclusion because ya boi’s record label Universal has just dropped a bunch of breadcrumb-like clues on Twitter pointing to some kind of imminent announcement involving Drizzy and Australia.
The series of tweets involve a bunch of pics of Aussie landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, Uluru, Luna Park, The Big Banana/Prawn/Pineapple etc. with D-Unit from his Views album superimposed on top, alongside the tagline “#drakewhen?”
The R&B crooner has been spending the year touring through Europe on his Boy Meets World dates, off the back of his 2016 LP Views.
His last Aussie visit was back in 2015 when he hit the stage at Future Music Festival and its associated sideshows, so if you ask us the time is ripe for another drizzle of Drizzy.
Catch all of Universal’s tweets below and see what you reckon. Naturally we’ll keep you up to date with any more info as it comes through!
