Dua Lipa has announced she’ll release a remixed version of latest album Future Nostalgia this month, created in collaboration with producer The Blessed Madonna (fka The Black Madonna).
Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album will arrive on Friday, 21st August, and while the singer is yet to reveal the entire tracklist, she’s shared some juicy details when announcing the album on Instagram earlier today.

For one thing, as reported late last month, reworked version of album single ‘Levitating’ is set to drop next Friday, 14th August and will feature both Missy Elliott and Madonna – that is, the actual Madonna, not The Blessed Madonna.
It’ll mark the first release from Missy Elliott since she hopped on a remix of Toni Braxton’s ‘Do It’, which followed the Iconology EP that dropped last year. It also marks the first release of Madonna’s since she dropped her 2019 album Madame X.
Dua Lipa goes on to reveal that a remix of ‘Physical’ is also coming – featuring Gwen Stefani and remixed by none other than Mark Ronson.
Beyond that, the singer shared that the remix album will contain “All Future Nostalgia tracks n then sum remixed by ur faves and many many more surprises.”
The album will be the first release by The Blessed Madonna since the producer changed her name. As artists such as The Chicks (fka The Dixie Chicks) have done, The Blessed Madonna changed her name after recognising it as a “a point of controversy, confusion, pain and frustration that distracts from things that are a thousand times more important than any single word in that name.
Earlier this year, Music Feeds named Future Nostalgia one of 2020’s best albums so far, writing, “It’s funky, it’s electrifying and it’s looking like Dua has kicked things into fifth gear and is hitting full speed in her own lane.”
