Hot off the heels of announcing new album Hurry Up and Wait and sharing new single ‘Crazy’, raucous Brisbane rockers Dune Rats have announced a national album launch tour kicking off late February 2020.
Starting the party off in style at the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide on Saturday, 29th November, the boys will then make their way to Perth, Brisbane and Sydney before wrapping things up in Melbourne.
Plus, they’re bringing a truly stacked lineup of special guests along with them for the ride, including Ruby Fields, Dear Seattle and Totty.
Hurry Up and Wait, the band’s third studio album, apparently sees them in a reflective period. “We don’t want to be the ‘Scott Green’ band forever,” lead singer Danny Beus commented upon the album’s announcement.
“We didn’t set out to make a big album, or a polished album, or an album about partying because the last one did alright, or an album not about partying because we want to get away from that. It’s just writing about different stuff in our lives. It was always just going to be Dunies.”
For the record, the Rats linked up with producer James Tidswell of Violent Soho.
Check out full dates and details below. Tickets are on sale next Tuesday, 3rd December. Hurry Up and Wait is set for release on Friday, 31st January.
