Dylan J & Ruel’s New ‘Notice Me’ Music Video Is Cuteness Overload

Dylan J (FKA Dylan Joel) has recruited Ruel for an absolute treat of a single today. The single is called ‘Notice Me’ and it’s a melodic gem of a track with a catchy as velcro chorus.

Alongside with the single, the pair have shared a music video. Directed by Emma Zoller, it’s mostly a cuteness overload.

With the song being all about getting someone’s attention and hating being single, the video seems to be the antidote.

It’s got it all: dogs, babies, motorbikes, working out, and the guys being ~artsy~. Dylan J even has his own No. 1 Dad mug.

The guys have clarified that no babies were harmed in the making of the video.

Dylan J reveals he’s been mates with Ruel for six years now. And the pair have had plans to release a single together for years.

“We wrote this song when Dyl was staying at my family’s house around 2-3 years ago,” says Ruel. “We went into my little makeshift studio (which only really had a laptop and speakers) then tried to make something we both related to.”

Dylan J adds, “We built most of the concept for this music video together, on the way to FOMO festival in Sydney.

“Kevin Abstract reached out to Ruel to link up at the festival and I was just tagging along, also helping Ruel get his hours up on his L’s.”
