It’s time for El Grande Festival take 3, with Queensland’s much-loved day of rock, roots and hip hop back in 2014 at a brand new venue, with Brisbane alt rock favourites Dead Letter Circus set to headline.
The boys that brought you last year’s massive The Catalyst Fire will be joined by Helm, Sietta, The Belligerents, Ezekiel Ox, Guards of May, StormChasers, Red Beard, Satellites, Dollarosa and a host of sweet local acts like Red In Tooth, A Direct Desire, Weathered, Jack & The Bom, N.Brahj and Tom Weber and more.
This year’s El Grande festivities have become so massive that they’ve had to move venues, this year taking place at Gladstone’s Bojangles Nightclub over two stages. The music will kick off earlier this year, with everything kicking off at 1pm, and will keep on rocking til the early hours of the morning.
Festival organiser Nathan Beford says he’s stoked with this year’s event:
“We have one of our favourite Australian artists headlining the event, a bigger venue that allows music to be going in two spaces at once and it’s so good to see great Australian music coming to Gladstone.”
El Grande takes place on Saturday, 29th March, with tickets are on sale from Friday, 31st January at Oztix.
