Sydney musician and former guitarist for The Preatures, Gideon Bensen, has debuted the first single from his new band Fiction Writer.
The first track from his new project is called ‘No Rumour’, and signifies a marked departure from the indie rock stylings of his former band.
Fiction Writer’s first tune is a dense, scuzzy rock effort, showing off a whole new dimension to Bensen’s musical capabilities.
Bensen has previously released a debut solo EP under his own name in 2015, and the next year he officially departed The Preatures.
‘No Rumour’ is the first track from a forthcoming debut EP, and also comes with an intimate ballet-filled video clip choreographed by Richard House of The Australian Ballet.
