Ex-Taking Back Sunday Guitarist Wants To Feature On Your Record

Taking Back Sunday’s former guitarist Fred Mascherino has made the ultimate announcement to fans. Currently working with his new outfit Terrible Things, Mascherino has offered his guitar skills to any and all who’d like him to feature on their new material.

According to Absolute Punk, Mascherino put the call out for fans to send him their songs and he will “record rhythms, leads, acoustic, mandolin and more”. It seems to be a very well thought out plan as he even scratches the surface of the technical side of things, explaining, “For guitars, I’ll record my best tone into ProTools HD and also a direct signal for re-amping.”

I know what you’re all thinking – how can I afford this?! Mascherino touches on it himself, acknowledging that he’s “recorded in just about every situation imaginable” and therefore must come with a massive price tag. You’d be wrong. “I’ll work with any budget and we’ll get it done quick!” he says, directing fans to his personal email account, FPMascho@gmail.com.

Just think – soon you could have a record featuring Brian May, Tony Iommi and Mascherino, and it won’t cost you a cent! The times we live in.

Mascherino also provided backing vocals for Taking Back Sunday from 2003 but jumped ship in 2007.
