Californian lo-fi garage pop don King Tuff will soon be kicking off a run of headlining Australian tour dates, but first the man himself will be stopping by Music Feeds Studio to bust out some jams, sticking around for a chat afterwards. The best part? We’ll be streaming the whole thing live and free for your viewing pleasure.
Better known as Kyle Thomas, the Sub Pop figure will be performing on our shores for the first-time ever this month, bringing his debut self-titled full-length effort in tow. Described as “cheap-beer-soaked tent revivals”, the songs themselves are massive, with Tuff packing some seriously wicked riffage.
We also hear he has a stage presence that one can only earn from the experience a musician like Thomas, whose previous projects include Feathers and Happy Birthday, has under one’s belt.
The stream will kick off 8:15pm AEST on Tuesday, 23rd April with King Tuff performing at 8:45pm. It won’t end there, with a live interview taking off at 9:00pm which will no doubt be fun for the whole family.
