Extremely Cool Dude Vanilla Ice Set To Play A Non-Socially Distanced Concert In Texas This Weekend

Vanilla Ice, a man who is really just crumbling the skeleton of a once dead horse at this point, is set to play a concert this weekend in a city where nearly every event has been cancelled.

Ice is set to play a concert in Austin, Texas, that’s being billed as an Independence Day Throwback Beach Party.

Taking to Instagram to make the announcement, Vanilla Ice noted that they didn’t have Coronavirus in the 90s. Can’t argue with the facts, folks.

“I can’t wait to get back to this,” he wrote.

“The 90s were the best. We didn’t have coronavirus, or cell phones, or computers. We had 5.0’s, blockbuster, Beavis and Butthead, Wayne’s World, Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan … Mortal Kombat is still better than Fortnight but we got out of the house. We danced, we invented house parties in the 90s. the last of the great decades.”

Mm.

In completely unrelated news, Texas has almost 200,000 total cases of COVID-19 with cases recently surging, with more than 6,000 new cases every single day.

For comparison, Australia has 8,000 cases total.
