Folk favourite Feist has announced she’ll host a new podcast called ‘Pleasure Studies’ starting next month.
The musician, whose last album was 2017’s Pleasure, says the podcast will be a “storytelling project that looks at the common ground under our common struggles. People from all walks of life to talk about places where they feel themselves.”
The series is co-presented by Talkhouse and the women-run podcasting network Earios, and will feature Feist chatting to people about their stories and connecting to the themes present on the 2017 album. According to her, the idea behind the series came after a couple of years of touring and listening to other people talk about their lives.
“Hard times are made harder by hiding out in that feeling that we’re all alone,” she says. “This podcast seeks to look at how we’re not.”
It will be available both through Apple Podcasts as well as Spotify.
