UPDATE 22/04/16: Even more Splendour 2016 sideshows have been announced.
The first drop of Splendour In The Grass 2016‘s sideshow monsoon has fallen, and it’s more than enough to make you dance.
Fierce rock and roll duo The Kills, i.e. Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, have just graced Aussie fans with a slew of Splendour In The Grass 2016 sideshows when they hit our shores for their first visit in five years this July.
Bringing along their much anticipated fifth album, Ash & Ice, set to be released on Friday 3rd June, The Kills will perform two headline dates in Australia following their Splendour appearance. They’ll kick things off at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Saturday 23rd July, followed by a show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Tuesday 26th July.
At the same time, electronic darling Låpsley will be playing her very first Australian headlining performances in Australia in Sydney and Melbourne alongside her spot on the Byron Bay festival.
She’ll be playing Melbourne’s Howler on Tuesday, 26th July and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday 27th.
