After rumours began to circle earlier this week that we were finally going to get new music from FKA twigs, she has confirmed that we’ll be getting the first taste of her new album with ‘Cellophane’.
In a Twitter post, Twigs described the process she went through while she was creating this new music.
“Throughout my life I’ve practiced my way to being the best I could be, it didn’t work this time,” twigs said.
“I had to tear down every process I’d ever relied on. Go deeper. Rebuild. Start again.”
‘Cellophane’ will be dropping 4:30am AEST, so it’ll be ready to play by the time we wake up tomorrow morning.
Hopefully this isn’t the only new bit of music we get from Twigs before she heads down to Australia to play shows in Sydney and Hobart as part of Vivid LIVE and Dark Mofo respectively.
