Foo Fighters, Chemical Brothers & More Pay Tribute To Keith Flint

The world is still reeling from the loss of Keith Flint, frontman of The Prodigy, who was found dead in his home in Essex yesterday. He was just 49 years old.

His band’s influence over electronic music, and music as a whole, has not been ignored, as artists across all genres are posting tributes to Flint and remembering his profound impact on the scene.

Artists like Foo Fighters, Chemical Brothers and James Blunt have paid tribute to Flint, with the latter offering a heartwarming story about the one and only time the two met.

The two surviving Prodigy members, Liam Howlett and Maxim, released a statement on Twitter calling him a “true pioneer, innovator and legend.”

Emily Eavis, co-organiser of Glastonbury Festival, paid her tribute while saying that The Prodigy were booked to play the festival this year in June.

Police found Flint dead after getting calls of “concerns for the welfare of a man” on Monday. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Vale Keith Flint.

UPDATE: Keith’s death has sadly been confirmed as a suicide by his bandmate Liam Howlett, who wrote on Instagram: “The news is true , I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend, I’m shell shocked , fuckin angry , confused and heart broken ….. r.i.p brother”
