Huge news for all Foo Fighters fans out there. The band will be hosting a weekly radio show on Aussie radio station Triple M starting from Friday, 19th March! The band’s residency is their way of celebrating their eighth number one record in Australia.
The band, who have just released their latest record Medicine At Midnight, will hold their weekly residency up until Friday, 23rd April.
Each week, you’ll hear a different member of the band holding down the panel, which means that you’ll be hearing a huge range of some of their favourite songs and stories from the road.
In a statement posted to the Triple M website, the station’s head of music, Mickey Maher said:
“No band fits hand in Triple M’s glove more than the Foo Fighters. To have the band host these one-off, personally curated shows, exclusive to listeners across our network, is very exciting.
“Obviously COVID is limiting their chance to grace our shores but with their eighth number one album in Australia we are thrilled they want to do something like this to celebrate with their Aussie fans. Who are we to turn them down!”
Foo Fighters Radio will kickoff this Friday on Triple M after the footy.
