Frank Ocean Debuts Four New Tracks Live In Germany

Frank Ocean has made good on his claim that he is “10, 11 songs” into his Channel Orange follow-up by unleashing four new tracks on an audience in Munich last night. This was Ocean’s first proper performance since September 2012 and the singer took the opportunity to test out some new material.

The Munich show was the first date on Ocean’s world tour – what better way to kick things off than with some new tunes? The fresh tracks quickly made their way to YouTube, a fan capturing the 25-year-old singer performing the new songs as well as the sea of smart phone-clutching hands in front of him. The tracks remain untitled thus far but we’ll be sure to get details as the tour progresses.

Back in February, the Odd Future alumrevealed to fans that he was well on the way to completing his much-anticipated successor to 2012’s Grammy Award-winning Channel Orange. Few details have been revealed about the album but rumoured collaborators include Depeche Mode, Pharrell Williams and King Krule.

Ocean is also set to perform at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival and Drake’s OVO Festival.
