LA-based and Australian-born pop powerhouse George Maple has announced she’ll be returning to Aussie shores in July to tour off the back of her new single Sticks And Horses ft. GoldLink.
Fresh from appearances at Coachella and Groovin The Moo, the tour will see Ms Maple once again showcase her impeccable live chops while playing with a full live band.
With a number of special guests set to be announced in the coming weeks, the tour looks set to offer much more than just the amazing live music experience Maple is know for.
“I’m going through a very bold and theatrical phase with my music and everything I’m working on creatively” she says of her live show.
“I’ll be exploring the whole ‘sex money power’ theme in full effect, I hope to bring the audience into my twisted universe.”
On that tip, Maple even road-tested Sticks And Horses in a strip club. You know, just to make sure she was on the right path.
Co-produced with Noah Breakfast, WILLIS and What So Not, the track has already received over one million streams on Spotify, while the Josiah Spencer (Drunk In Love) directed video is set to break 100k views any second now.
As the follow up to 2015’s dark RnB anthem Where You End and I Begin ft. Grande Marshall and Maple’s epic collaboration with What So Not, Gemini, Sticks And Horses well and truly announces the singer as one of the world’s uber-exciting artists.
