New South Wales indie rockers The Terrys have shared the new single, ‘Rolling Stone’. The Terrys’ third single of 2022 is set to appear on the band’s forthcoming debut album when it arrives later this year.
‘Rolling Stone’ is an indie rock slow-burner that reveals a new side of the band. It’s a melancholic yet anthemic track that pairs textured vocal layers with slick riffs. As the track reaches its conclusion, the tension gives rise to a grunge-filled breakdown, bolstered by an air of vulnerability.

“We wrote and recorded this song in the same day,” the group explained in a statement. “It was our first time recording at The Grove and we were all pretty blown away to be in a studio like that.
“It’s a bit slower than the rest of the album we’ve been recording (but more on that later) and definitely the most sentimental. Lyrically, the song speaks for itself.”
The Terrys released their first single back in 2020, with a handful of tracks preceding the release of their debut EP, The TerrySonic Mixtape, in September 2021. This year has also seen the group release two new songs: ‘IDK’ in February and ‘Waiting For You’ in May.
