Ghost B.C. Tag Dave Grohl To Produce New Covers EP ‘If You Have Ghost’

If you’re going to release a covers EP, you may as well release a covers EP produced by Dave Grohl. The Foo Fighters frontman and all-round sterling chap has offered his skills as a knob twiddler to Ghost (or Ghost B.C. to their US friends) for their soon-to-be released covers EP titled If You Have Ghost.

The EP’s title was taken from the first track to make the cut for the release, being Royk Erickson’s If You Have Ghosts. Other artists re-interpreted for the disc include ABBA, Depeche Mode, Army Of Lovers and Ghost themselves, as they threw in a live recording of Secular Haze for good measure.

You can listen to the title track from the EP below and, whilst it’s impossible to determine what was technically Grohl’s input and what wasn’t, we can be sure that at least 50% of the awesomeness in the below track is due to Grohl’s. No disrespect, Ghost dudes, but Grohl’s the man.

The EP will be released internationally on Tuesday, 19th November, and if you dig their vibe why not check out Ghost’s all-original album Infestissumam? Ghost are touring Australia next year as part of the Big Day Out.

UPATE: Ghost B.C have kindly announced a special release date for Australia of Friday, 22nd November.
