Ghost frontman Tobias Forge is at the centre of a disturbing legal case, with a woman in her 40s charged with harassment following months of alleged stalking behaviour.
According to reports out of Sweden (via Metal Injection), the woman is accused of repeatedly contacting Forge between July and October last year via messages, letters and payment requests. Investigators allege the behaviour was “offensive, intrusive and invasive,” with Forge stating he received persistent texts and WhatsApp messages before blocking the number – after which the contact allegedly continued through registered mail.

One incident in particular appears to have escalated the situation, with Forge reporting he received a package containing a mobile phone that he described as suspicious. He told investigators he removed it from his home and handed it to police, adding that while he has dealt with stalkers in the past, this case crossed a line.
“I feel quite reserved around people trying to contact me, but over the years I’ve had about a dozen stalkers,” he is quoted as saying in reports obtained by Aftonbladet. “However, no one has done anything as invasive and downright threatening as sending a mobile phone. It wouldn’t have been so good if I lived at a secret address, for example. With that phone, I reached my limit.”
He added: “I’ve had devoted pursuers before, most of them are pretty harmless, but there’s something about this that’s odd.”
The accused woman has reportedly denied the allegations, instead claiming the pair had been in contact for years and were even engaged – though she has not provided evidence to support those claims.
Forge has not sought compensation, instead stating he simply wants the contact to stop.
“I don’t want to make her life worse. I just want her to leave me alone and not hurt anyone else,” he said, according to the report.
The woman is also facing additional charges in relation to other alleged incidents, including unlawful stalking and sexual assault. She has denied all allegations.
