If you didn’t already have Sofia Isella on your radar, consider this your formal notice: the 20-year-old Gold Coast-born artist’s star is rising faster than your TikTok FYP can refresh.

Fresh off the humble flex of opening for Taylor Swift at WEMBLEY STADIUM during the London leg of the historic Eras Tour (yes, that Eras Tour), Isella has just announced she’s upgrading venues for the Sydney and Melbourne stops of her upcoming Aussie headline run.

Her YOU’LL UNDERSTAND, DICK tour will hit Brisbane’s Triffid on Tuesday, 9th December, before taking over Melbourne’s iconic Palais Theatre on Wednesday, 10th December and Sydney’s Roundhouse on Friday, 12th December. The OG shows apparently sold out fast, so the venue upgrades come as a blessing for fans who blinked and missed tickets the first time ‘round.

It’s the latest in a string of high-profile milestones for the genre-hopping singer, songwriter, producer, poet and classically trained violinist—whose inspirations span from Nine Inch Nails and Beck to Margaret Atwood and Sylvia Plath.

A gothic femme fatale with a futuristic edge, Sofia Isella has supported the likes of Tom Odell and Melanie Martinez across stages in the UK, US, and Mexico, proving she’s just as at home in an intimate theatre as she is playing to 80,000 people at Wembley.
