Good Guy Mark Ruffalo Drove Some Hitchhikers Home From Splendour In The Grass

Mark Ruffalo aka the Hulk has revealed that in 2016 he stopped by the road on his way home from Splendour In The Grass to pick up some stranded hitchhikers.

Ruffalo is currently in Australia alongside co-star Chris Hemsworth to promote their new film Thor: Ragnarok.

A promotional interview yesterday saw Hemsworth reveal that Ruffalo had stopped to pick up some festival goers who were caught out by the massive delays to buses getting out of Splendour that year.

“The police were harassing them,” Ruffalo says. “They were like, ‘Where are you going!?’ and they were like, ‘We’re trying to get home’, and the cops were like ‘Where’s your car!?”

Ruffalo, who had attended the festival with Hemsworth and Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi defused the situation by convincing the cops that he was the uncle of the group of kids.

Hemsworth continued the story from there, revealing that the kids had told Ruffalo their house was 10 minutes away, when in fact it was nearly three hours away, and in the wrong direction for Mark too.

Watch the footage below, with the story about Splendour kicking off at the 21-minute mark.
