Greta Van Fleet have announced a run of east-coast tour dates for Australia in August 2024. The tour is part of the band’s world tour in support of their third studio album Starcatcher, which was released in July 2023. While the band are in the Australasia region, they will also play a one-off show in New Zealand: On Friday August 30th, the band will perform at Auckland venue Spark Arena.
The band first came to Australia in January 2019, in support of their 2018 debut album Anthem of the Peaceful Army. This run of shows, however, was called off after just one show due to lead vocalist Josh Kiszka coming down with laryngitis. The band eventually returned that September to complete the tour.

Since the band were last in Australia, they have released a further two studio albums: 2021’s The Battle at Garden’s Gate and last year’s Starcatcher. They also put out four live albums simultaneously in April 2022, each one documenting a different performance from their Strange Horizons US tour in 2021: Nashville, Bridgeport, Chicago and Los Angeles.
