Groovin The Moo 2017 Lineup Expands… Again

The udder-ly huge (sorry) lineup for Groovin The Moo 2017 just keeps getting bigger, with organisers adding more acts to the packed herd today.

Half a dozen local triple J Unearthed artists have just been announced to take part in this year’s festivities, with one homegrown unknown milking the opportunity to open one of the biggest regional festivals in Australia at each of its six stops.

Hot off the J-waves, this year’s diverse moo brew includes:

Heaps Good Friends: a dance-pop twosome who’ll be warming up the crowd in Adelaide

Intovert: a crew of indie-punks who’ll be be hitting GTM Newcastle

Greta Stanley: a 22-year-old singer/songwriter who’ll be firing up proceedings in Townsville

Tusk: a Bendigo-bred stoner-grunge act who’ll be getting GTM punters head-banging early in their home town

Slow Turismo: a team of spacey, groove-based indie rockers who’ve been assigned to get the party started in Canberra, and

Luke Fox: a globetrotting singer-songwriter who’ll be opening up the closing leg of GTM in Bunbury

They join previously-announced new add-ons Pnau on one fat cow of a lineup for Groovin The Moo 2017 that includes The Wombats, Against Me!, Architects, Violent Soho, Amy Shark, Milky Chance, Tash Sultana, The Darkness and more.

Meanwhile, Groovin The Moo 2017 has already sold out in Maitland, Bendigo, and Canberra, with an official ticket resale site up and running for those stops. Tickets are still available in Townsville, Wayville and Bunbury.

Catch the full lineup, dates and ticket details below, and all of this year’s Groovin The Moo sideshows right here.
