Sydney’s Guineafowl are teaming up with Brisbane indie sextet Ball Park Music for a joint tour this April and May that will take in eight shows up the east coast.
The tour, called The Super Commuter Tour, will see two of the nation’s most highly-tipped young bands on the same bill every night. Guineafowl, the moniker for Bondi dweller Sam Yeldham, have an EP to push called Hello Anxiety (released in February), featuring acclaimed songs In Our Circles and Botanist. The Super Commuter Tour will be Guineafowl’s most extensive to date.
Ball Park Music on the other hand, are a more witty and playful crew, with their chirpy pop-rock finding friends nationwide on the back of single iFly and Sad Rude Future Dude. They have also enjoyed a support slot with fellow Queenslanders Hungary Kids Of Hungary.
