Just a matter of days after the official line up announcement for the Australian leg of Vans Warped Tour 2013, one of the acts set to perform has possibly now pulled out. Hardcore legends H2O do not appear on an amended poster uploaded to the event’s Facebook page, which has fuelled speculation that the band will no longer be part of the tour.
H2O fans will no doubt be nervously awaiting further news as even though there are other strong punk rock / hardcore acts on the bill nothing can quite fill the void that will be left by the band. Back in 2011 H2O showed us all just how much they rock live when they took part in Soundwave and a run of sideshows with fellow legends Terror. At this point no statement has been released explaining the sudden explaining the cancellation.
There’s no point getting too down, however, as a second lineup announce for Vans Warped Tour Australia 2013 is supposedly due to drop on 24th July.
Update: H2O will not be appearing at Warped Australia. According to Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah, H2O were looking positive to join the line up and were included on the original draft artwork that was sent out by mistake.
