HAIM have shared their latest single, ‘Now I’m In It’. An emotional bop centred on mental health, it’s the second new track they’ve unveiled this year after releasing ‘Summer Girl’ back in August.
“‘Now I’m In It’ is about going through it. A depression. Not leaving the house type of shit,” shared the band on social media regarding the track.
“For my sisters and I, there have been times in our lives where we have felt like we are stuck in a dark hole. This track speaks to that emotion.”
In a press release, Este Haim added “Even when we’re writing about something dark or more serious, we like to tie it up in a bow so that there’s a bit of lightness to it.
“We want our music, and this song especially, to be the thing that helps you get through that rough time.”
For the song’s music video, the HAIM sisters once again teamed up with director Paul Thomas Anderson. The band have previously collaborated with Anderson for videos for ‘Right Now’ ‘Little of Your Love’ and ‘Summer Girl’.
