Fresh from releasing latest single ‘Clementine’, US songwriter Halsey has been confirmed to perform at this year’s ARIA Awards ceremony, which is scheduled for next month in Sydney.
Arguably one of the more interesting names in pop music at the moment, the megastar has spent much of this year preparing third studio album Manic, due for release early next year.
“We are thrilled to be able to welcome Halsey to this year’s ARIA Awards as a special guest performer,” says ARIA Chief Executive Dan Rosen.
“She is one of the most exciting acts in the world right now, a truly original and talented artist. We can’t wait to see her take the ARIA Awards stage!”
This year’s ARIA Awards will take place at The Star Event Centre on Wednesday, 27th November. Hosted by Guy Sebastian, it will be broadcast on the Nine Network and streamed internationally through YouTube.
Last week, this year’s nominations were announced in full, with the likes of Tones and I, Thelma Plum, Paul Kelly and Hilltop Hoods all scoring a stack of noms.
