Following the shock cancellation of Falls Festival’s Lorne leg this morning due to extreme bushfire danger conditions, a bunch of acts from the lineup have scrambled to organise some last minute shows to treat those Victorian fans whose NYE plans literally just went up in smoke.
Halsey, YUNGBLUD and Peking Duk are all performing headline benefit shows in Melbourne tonight — at The Forum, The Tote, and The Espy respectively — with all proceeds to be donated to the Country Fire Authority (CFA) and Rural Fire Services.
Holy Holy, Ali Barter, CLEWS are also playing tonight at The Leadbeater Hotel, while RAThammock, TOTTY and Bakers Eddy are playing The Gasometer.
Elsewhere, WAAX, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers, Cry Club and Bakers Eddy have all banded together for a special benefit show at Stay Gold tomorrow, Monday, 30th December. Tickets are a mere $20 at the door and half of the proceeds will go to the CFA.
While Lime Cordiale have also announced a special New Years Eve show at The Croxton with Teenage Dads & Nat Vazer.
Catch the details below and head here for the full rundown on the Falls Festival Lorne cancellation.
