Herbie Hancock Announces First Australian Tour In 5 Years

American jazz legend Herbie Hancock has announced his Australian tour for 2024 in October, his first visit since 2019.

The tour will kick off at Sydney’s Opera House Concert Hall on October 11 and 12, moving on to the Canberra Theatre on October 14 and Brisbane’s QPAC Concert Hall on October 17.

He’ll be the guest of honour at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on October 19, followed by an appearance at Adelaide’s Festival Theatre on October 20, closing the tour out in Perth Concert Hall on October 22.

Pre-sale for Live Nation starts this Wednesday, July 10 at 9 am for a period of only one day up to Thursday, July 11 at 8 am. General ticket sales begin on Thursday, July 11 at 9 am. Specifically, pre-sales to the Sydney Opera House start on July 9 at 9 am, and general sales start for Sidney Myer Music Bowl on July 9 at 1 pm. All times mentioned here are local.
