Here’s What Axl Rose Singing With AC/DC Sounds Like

We’ve all heard Axl bust out a mean Whole Lotta Rosie in Guns N’ Roses‘ heyday, but we never thought we’d be hearing him wrap his cement mixer pipes around an entire AC/DC setlist.

Rock n’ roll critics who’ve been quick to denounce the top Gunner as Brian Johnson’s replacement are no doubt sharpening their pitchforks ahead of his imminent first concert filling in for the legendary Aussie rock act, ready to attack at the slightest fuck-up. And Axl knows it.

Which is likely why he zipped off to Europe straight after wrapping up Gunners’ Coachella headlining stint to squeeze in a rigorous rehearsal schedule before the Acca Dacca tour kicks off on May 7th.

And unsurprisingly, because it’s 2016, fan-shot audio footage from one of those rehearsals has now appeared online.

As Blabbermouth reports, the recordings seem to have been taken during the band’s rehearsal in Lisbon, Portugal ahead of their Rock Or Bust concert opener there, and feature Axl singing the absolute shit out of Acca Dacca classics Thunderstruck and Shoot To Thrill.

The audio isn’t great quality, But hot damn if Thunderstruck does not sound HUGE.

Check ’em out below.

Meanwhile, AC/DC fans fools who don’t want to see Axl front the band on tour have been offered a refund.
