Hey Smith have shared details of their debut Australian tour. The Japanese ska-punk band will play four shows on the east coast of Australia in November 2024. A full run of dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.
Joining Hey Smith on the tour will be Californian ska-punk band the Voodoo Glow Skulls, who are returning to Australia for the first time in 11 years following the ill-fated Hits & Pits festival in 2013. Opening the shows will be Melbourne ska band The Resignators. Both Hey Smith and The Resignators released their latest albums in November 2023, Rest in Punk and Rabbithole respectively, while the Voodoo Glow Skulls released Livin’ the Apocalypse in 2021.

All three bands are also set to appear on the line-up for this year’s Ska Nation Festival, taking place at Colac Showgrounds in western Victoria. Other ska bands such as The Kittyhawks, Operation Ibis and a reunited Steel City Allstars will also perform over the weekend of Saturday, November 30th and Sunday, December 1st.
