High Vis Announce New Album ‘Guided Tour’

London-based band High Vis has announced the release of their third album, ‘Guided Tour,’ set to drop on October 18th via Dais Records. The quintet kicks off this new chapter with the single ‘Mind’s A Lie,’ a track that blends dance floor energy with stadium rock vibes.

‘Mind’s A Lie’ features vocals from South London producer and DJ Ell Murphy, paired with the gritty yelps of lead vocalist Graham Sayle. The song draws influences from house and garage music while maintaining the punk-poetic style seen in their previous albums, ‘No Sense No Feeling’ (2019) and ‘Blending’ (2022).

‘Guided Tour’ showcases High Vis reaching new musical heights. The album was recorded over several weeks at Holy Mountain Studios in London, with producer Jonah Falco and engineer Stanley Gravett. It includes eleven tracks that span the spectrum of contemporary guitar music, reflecting the band’s growth, camaraderie, and societal frustrations.

Accompanying the release of ‘Mind’s A Lie’ is a cinematic video shot in South East London. Directed by Martina Pastori and starring Welsh movement artist Sem Osian, the video vividly portrays themes of class disparity, isolation, and loneliness.

Graham Sayle explains, “I wanted to show how quickly negative habits can take over when there’s no positive outlet for your energy. While mental health conversations have grown on social media, access to essential services has been slashed by indifferent Tory governments. This has led to further division through governmental rhetoric and media scapegoating. Without proper support in times of crisis, life can quickly become an angry and isolated experience.”

High Vis’s ‘Guided Tour’ promises to be a powerful exploration of contemporary issues through their evolving sound. Fans can look forward to its release on October 18th.
