Hoodoo Gurus Reschedule 40th Anniversary Tour With Dandy Warhols

Oz rock legends the Hoodoo Gurus have rescheduled their 40th Anniversary tour with special guests The Dandy Warhols. No prizes for guessing why.

The tour was set to take place this December. However, Dave Faulkner and co. will now celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary in April 2022. The shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane all have new dates. The Gurus have also added a new show in Hobart.

If you’ve already got tickets, no action is necessary; all tickets remain valid for new dates. If you haven’t got your tickets yet, then now is your chance—tickets for the new dates are on sale from 10am today, 6th October. The show at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday, 12th April is sold out.

“Let’s face it, folks – 2021 is a write-off,” said Faulkner, the Gurus’ singer/guitarist. “We had high hopes earlier in the year that the pandemic would be behind us by now but… well, you know as well as I do. Delta skelter!, dashed hopes, spilt milk, whatever, we won’t let it break us.

“Stay strong, stay safe and stay put – we’ll get everything back on track in 2022. As the song says, all the good times we had we’ll have again. Believe it.”
