Chance The Rapper has been quiet for a while now, but it looks like we finally when we’ll be getting the acclaimed rapper’s debut album.
Chance tweeted earlier this week two, very blunt tweets that told us we’ll be getting his yet-to-be-titled debut album – “Owbum” and “July”.

He then went on to detail what we can expect from the album, saying it’s for his true fans. He noted that his third mixtape Coloring Book – the first streaming-only record to win a Grammy – made him really popular, and that people started being a fan of him just because of that reason.
I got real famous so I gotta lotta eyes on me that wasn’t fans of me they just fans of whats popular. My first album is for my fans.

I’ll always be immensely proud of what I did with Coloring Book. Same Drugs, Summer Friends and Juke Jam are some the realest songs I’ve ever written so u dont have to defend Coloring Book to me. It happened, it made history but I did it already. The album wont be acid rap either

Last year, Chance dropped four new songs seemingly out of nowhere and it was reported that he was going to release an album at the end of that same week, in July.
He then tweeted “Sorry no album this week, def been in the stu tho.”
A year late is better than never.
