Illy is gearing up to release his sixth album The Space Between, and to celebrate he’s announced a pair of Sydney and Melbourne shows for early next year.
The Space Between will be Illy’s first album since 2016’s Two Degrees, which spawned his huge collab with Vera Blue, ‘Papercuts’.
“There was no way I wasn’t doing something to celebrate a release week that’s been such a long time coming, and I’m thrilled that that something will be playing live, and talking about the songs, with actual crowds,” Illy said in a press statement.
“Bring on 2021.”
Illy will kick things off at Melbourne’s 170 Russell in mid January, before taking on Sydney’s Factory Theatre a few days later.
The Space Between is out Friday, 15th January 2021.
